Have you always wanted to learn Salsa? Then it is time to take action! Join Esther Alvero and Antonio de Freitas, founders of Cubaneando and both former Tropicana Rueda Word Champions, alongside regular guest instructors for a weekly course. With over 20 years of experience teaching Cuban Salsa and creating high-end dance productions. Antonio and Esther are well renowned for their teaching methodology and attention to detail. The course will have a structured format in a way that maximizes your progress over the weeks and your evolution is not affected by new students joining in.

Ideal for those who simply cannot commit to regular classes and the ones that can't wait any longer to take up their Cuban Salsa to the next level!

Also, great and fun socializing and meeting new people like the groups of students will be mostly the same throughout the month.

COURSE FORMAT & LEVELS: 

​

The course is divided into two levels for each hour, each one with a different instructor:

★  4;45-5:00pm: Door opens - Arrivals & Registrations

★ 5:00 pm: The course starts on prompt!

★  5.00-6.00pm: Beginners 1 with Esther / Improvers 1 with Antonio

★  6.15-7.15pm: Beginners 2 with Esther / Improvers 2 & Intermediates 1 with Antonio

 LEVEL SYLLABUS:

​

Beginners 1: Everyone is welcome. (If you are an improver but have never done Cuban Salsa we recommend you do at least one beginners class)

Beginners 2: Cuban Salsa Basic Steps, partner work frame, Arriba, Abajo, basic leading/following foundation. 

Improvers  (minimum syllabus required: Able to use all the basic Cuban steps within the rhythm and with reasonable control of your posture and leading/following, "Dile que No", "Dile que Si", Casino or Guapea, Enchufla, Dame, and Sombrero

THE STUDIO: 

​

The Venue Hall is based inside the O2 Centre, 2min walk from Finchley

Road St. It is a huge dance studio, with plenty of natural light, a sprung

wooden floor, and a mirrored wall. The Capacity of the studio is 80 people

depending on Government restrictions.

The O2 Centre has plenty of shops and restaurants if you need anything

during the breaks.

PRICING PLANS:

★ £60 - 10h Bundle for Beginners & Improvers: 4 x sessions of 2h on Sat + Cuban Friday Salsa Night Out (2h Classes + Club Entry)*

★ £100 - 13'5h Bundle for Beginners & Improvers: 4 x sessions of 2h on Sat + 1Day Intensive (5h) + 30min private coaching with Esther or Antonio

 

In order to guarantee the progression, all bundles should be used within 6 consecutive weeks. The bundles are non-refundable

You don't have a partner? No worries, most of the students come alone. You don't need to bring a partner to join in as we rotate partners constantly during the lessons. Cubaneando's atmosphere is renowned for being London's friendliest in the  Salsa Scene. Strictly No DIVAS or Mambo Kings allowed!

The Venue room is located on Level 2 next between Wagamama and Vue Cinemas, via the corridor to the family room and Gymboree, just follow the sings to "The Venue".

BY TRAIN /TUBE

The centre's nearest tube station is Finchley Road.

Finchley Road is on the Metropolitan and Jubilee lines;

as you leave the station, turn left, and you'll find us just past the small shops.

We're also a few minutes walk from Finchley Road & Frognal railway station, on the London Overground Richmond/Clapham Junction to Stratford line; turn right and walk along the main road - you'll find us on the right.

BY BUS

There is a bus stop right outside the O2 Centre Finchley Road. The 13, 113, 187, 268 and N113 all stop at the centre daily.
